Pediatric and Adult Dentistry in Statesboro Georgia Specializing in primary dental care providers for every member of a family

About Us

Bray, DMD, & Young, DMD, P.C. was established in 1990, but we have been practicing in Statesboro since 1986. Dr. Bray and Dr. Young have been married since 1983 and are blessed with 3 children.

A family-oriented practice has been their goal from the beginning. They desire to be the primary dental care providers for every member of a family from birth through their golden years. However, there is no requirement that every family member be a part of the practice.

Both Dr. Bray and Dr. Young accept referrals from other dentists for specific services or limited periods of time. Dr. Young frequently cares for only the children in a family when the parents are established with another dentist. Those children generally transfer to their parent’s dentist at an appropriate time.

Our expected outcome is to establish and maintain good dental health for the entire family. Dr. Young has gifts and passion for dealing with children that is truly amazing. Dr. Bray enjoys the variety of general practice and helping his patients achieve dental health.

About Dr. Young

Dr. Sally Young has always enjoyed taking care of children. From her early days of babysitting in her hometown of Fort Valley, Georgia, she knew she wanted to pursue a career that would enable her to do that. Having set her sights on healthcare, she earned a degree in biology from Wesleyan College and was accepted to the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry, where she received her doctorate in dentistry in 1984. Dr. Young fulfilled the requirements for being a pediatric dental specialist at MCG in 1986 then joined Dr. Bray in practice in Statesboro. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentists.

At home, Dr. Young enjoys cooking, sewing, and taking care of her family. She is a fan of Georgia Southern football and is an active member of Trinity Presbyterian Church where she has taught Toddlers and Twos in Sunday School for many years.

Dr. Young strives to care for young patients in a way that is encouraging, friendly, and fun. She believes that educating parents and helping children feel comfortable in a dental office can lead to a lifetime of positive dental experiences.

About Dr. Bray

Dr. Bray grew up in Thomaston, GA, but has now lived in Statesboro for most of his life. He graduated summa cum laude from Georgia Southern in 1979. His doctorate in dental medicine was conferred by MCG in 1983, and he completed his general practice residency in 1984 at the VA hospitals in Augusta. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, and the Southeastern District Dental Society.

Growing up in a small town in middle Georgia instilled in Dr. Bray a set of values that many still cherish: love for God, love for family and a strong work ethic. He has been involved in church activities all of his life. He learned commitment to hard work and excellence from his parents, teachers, and employers.
